HIRONIC marked the 20th anniversary of its founding on July 12, 2026. The company was established in 2006 as SP Medical, a name derived from "Success Partner," and has since grown into a KOSDAQ-listed developer and manufacturer of medical aesthetic devices with a presence in more than 60 countries.
Two Decades of Development
HIRONIC's founding period (2006–2010) centered on the development of its first medical devices and the establishment of its early patent portfolio. Between 2011 and 2016, the company listed on KOSDAQ and introduced the DOUBLO line of devices, a technology platform later upheld through a defended patent ruling.
From 2017 to 2020, HIRONIC received FDA and CE approvals for multiple device lines, expanding its distribution beyond the Korean market. The period from 2021 to 2023 saw continued growth in international distribution and industry recognition. Most recently, the company has launched SYNERJET PRO™ and MIGLOU™, both of which have received Korea MFDS approvals in 2026.
Current Operations
HIRONIC's product portfolio today includes SYNERJET PRO™, MIGLOU™, New Doublo™ (marketed in Korea as V-RO LIFTING™), and PICOHI™, covering applications in skin treatment, body contouring, and related aesthetic procedures. The company continues to work with distributors and physicians across its international markets.
In a statement marking the anniversary, HIRONIC said the milestone reflects two decades of work with its distributors, partner physicians, and patients, and that the company intends to continue developing new devices and expanding its international regulatory approvals in the years ahead.

Last Saturday, HIRONIC welcomed an elite audience of leading aesthetic experts and top users from Korea and Japan for a private launching preview — an intimate, high-level event dedicated to unveiling two groundbreaking new devices set to redefine the non-invasive aesthetics landscape. Two Landmark Innovations UnveiledThe event introduced two next-generation devices: an advanced contouring and face lifting platform powered by microwave technology, available for export as MIGLOU™, and a revolutionary needle-free injector that uniquely combines three technologies — micro-jetting, electroporation, and plasma — in a single platform, available for export as SYNERJET PRO™.Four Immersive Expert LecturesThe launch was enriched by four in-depth lectures delivered by four of Korea's foremost aesthetic experts, offering clinical insights, hands-on perspectives, and forward-looking analysis on both devices and the broader direction of non-invasive aesthetics.Expert Insights on HIRONICAcross the presentations, experts consistently highlighted what sets HIRONIC apart in a crowded market. HIRONIC devices are recognized for their exceptional build quality, and the brand has remained steadfastly focused on non-invasive technologies — always prioritizing reduced patient discomfort alongside improved clinical efficacy. It is this unwavering philosophy, experts noted, that allows HIRONIC devices to consistently outperform competitors.A New Standard in Microwave-Based ContouringOn the microwave contouring device, experts drew particular attention to its proprietary FIM (Focused Intensive Microwave) technology — a uniquely advanced feature that enhances treatment efficiency while delivering the same energy output. This innovation, experts emphasized, is an entirely distinctive advancement that elevates MIGLOU™ (export name) to true second-generation microwave technology status, setting it apart from all currently available solutions and creating clear, immediate market value.Redefining Needle-Free DeliveryRegarding the triple-technology needle-free injector, experts were equally emphatic: combining micro-jetting, electroporation, and plasma into a single device is not incremental progress — it is a meaningful leap forward. When these three technologies work in synergy, they significantly enhance active ingredient absorption, a benefit now supported by recent clinical studies. Experts underscored that SYNERJET PRO™ (export name) directly overcomes the limitations of currently available needle-free solutions, positioning it as an undeniable step toward shifting the aesthetics industry from the injection era into a new age of advanced needle-free delivery.Setting the Course for the Future of Non-Invasive AestheticsThe private launch preview was more than a product reveal — it was a statement of direction. With two devices that each advance their respective categories in meaningful, clinically relevant ways, HIRONIC once again demonstrated its commitment to pushing the boundaries of non-invasive aesthetics. As both platforms make their way to markets worldwide, the industry will be watching closely — and if the response from Korea and Japan's top experts is any indication, the impact is set to be significant.
